Bathroom cabinets do provide the convenience. However, you must be very careful not to clutter your bathroom with too much bathroom furniture. Wall Mounted Bathroom Cabinets

There is a number of clever designs to refurnish your bathroom with cabinets. There are narrow extended wall cabinets, a single door cabinets and wide double door products. The extended wall cabinet is usually narrow but tall. It will have a proper cupboard and few shelves. These bathroom cabinets are suitable for narrow walls.

For larger bathrooms you need single-door bathroom cupboards and cabinets. These units are 40cm wide and about twice as high. You can also add some style with double door cabinets. These products are about 70cm in width and about 50-80cm in height. The doors can be opaque, made of glass or mirror. The mirror doors are practical option, especially for shaving. In fact, many bathroom cupboards manufacturers advertise these products as shaving cabinets.

Free Standing Bathroom Cabinets

The free standing cabinets are the most expensive product among the bathroom cabinetry. These units should be purchased if there is sufficient space. The free standing bathroom cabinets are either face-frame or frameless. The face-frame models are more rigid and thus more expensive.

All vanity cabinets must be face-framed to support the basin and/or bathroom mirror. These products range from $500 to $900 depending on the size and the quality of the unit. The frameless models do not have the amount of structural support. These items are more like bathroom cupboards to store lighter bathroom accessories (glasses, cups, toothbrushes, shaving tools, etc). The frameless models are about $200-$300 cheaper from their face-framed counterparts.

DIY Bathroom Cabinets

The DIY bathroom cabinets are a good option. You can save around 30%-40% if you install the bathroom cabinetry yourself. There are companies (Bunning, Mitre 10) which offer flat pack products. These units come with comprehensive manuals and are straightforward to assemble.
